Heading west out of Blewbury on A417 turn left opposite Savages Garden Centre, signposted Recreation Ground, where we park on the left (nearest postcode OX11 9HB). The walk will steadily climb westwards out of Blewbury. We will cross the gallops on the Compton Downs before turning onto the Ridgeway. We will then walk across the downs towards Lowbury Hill before descending steeply back to Blewbury. The walk is in open countryside and hopefully the views will be wonderful. There will be approximately 450 feet of ascent. Please note start time Bring a packed lunch.
