Mapledurham

Start at Mapledurham playing fields carpark. Nearest Post Code RG4 7LB (There is a good bus service from Reading stopping near the playing fields on the A4074: No. 22 & X40). This circular walk starts on the very outskirts of Reading near the Oxfordshire border. We walk through and alongside quiet woodland, in part near The Caversham Golf Club. We are stopping for lunch at St Margaret's church at the centre of the beautiful village of Mapledurham. We then continue the walk re-joining the start at Mapledurham playing field carpark. A packed lunch is required.
